The legal landscape is changing rapidly in a way that has a profound effect on the lives of many of the clients that we all represent. Such changes comes at a time when all those working in the field, are isolated from each other, working individually, in our own homes. Kings Chambers is hosting a panel discussion, which will provide an opportunity to work through and discuss some of the most challenging issues currently being faced across the profession. There will be an opportunity to put questions, in writing, ahead of the discussion, and for those attending to participate orally throughout the discussion. It is hoped that the discussion will be an opportunity to share and learn from the collective experiences of each other, during this difficult time.

• The new DOLS Covid-19 government guidance issued on 09 April 2020

• Allocation of treatment tools – who gets critical care and treatment?

• Managing contact restrictions during the lockdown • The revised Care Act Duty – applying Article 3

The panel is made up of the following speakers: Sam Karim QC, Simon Burrows, Sophie Allan, Eliza Sharron, Francesca P. Gardner, Arianna Kelly and Sophie Hurst
