Independent legal directory, The Legal 500, has announced its shortlist for its 2019 UK Awards and Kings Chambers is delighted that two of its members have been included in the nominations.
Paul Tucker QC has been nominated as Silk of the Year in the Regional Bar category, whilst Francesca P. Gardner has been nominated as Junior of the Year in the Regional Bar.
Paul Tucker QC is Deputy Head of Chambers and Head of the Planning Team, and has a UK-wide practice in he fields of planning, local government, environmental, CPO, CIL, infrastructure and highways. Francesca P. Gardner’s practice is focused on all areas of Court of Protection work, with a particular interest in mental capacity and mental health law. Both have enjoyed another successful year; Francesca, has been instructed in numerous complex Court of Protection matters over the course of the year. Meanwhile Paul was instructed on a number of high-profile matters, amongst other things, the largest single planning application in the UK in Liverpool, and the St Michael’s redevelopment project in Manchester.

The awards shortlist is announced following The Legal 500’s comprehensive research into the UK legal market; over 50,000 interviews are conducted with legal practitioners in order to allow the judges to reach a decision.
The awards take place on 6th February 2019 at The Great Hall, Guildhall, London.
