Kings Chambers is delighted to announce that Philip Robson, Elliot Kay and Shemuel Sheikh have been appointed to the Attorney General’s Panels of Junior Counsel to the Crown. Both Philip and Elliot have been appointed to the Regional B Panel, and Shemuel to the Regional C Panel. Each will commence their five-year appointments on 1st March.

Philip has a broad planning and environmental practice, acting for developers and local authorities across the country. He is consistently ranked as a top planning junior.

Elliot specialises in serious injury and construction litigation, handling complex, high-value cases in the County Court and High Court. He is regularly instructed in fraud-related personal injury claims and a wide range of construction disputes.

Shem practises across all areas of administrative and public law, with a particular specialism in planning, local government, licensing, and regulatory law. Shem is ranked by Legal 500 as a ‘Rising Star’, which states: ‘Shemuel is an exceptional advocate. He is patient and a good reader of his audience.’
