Kings Chambers is delighted to announce that Thomas Williams has been granted admission to the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) Court.

The AIFC Court, based in Astana, Kazakhstan, is an independent common law court established to serve the AIFC — a leading international financial hub for Central Asia. The Court is presided over by Lord Mance, former Deputy President of the UK Supreme Court.

Thomas said:

“I am delighted to be granted rights of audience in the Astana International Financial Centre Court. My admission is unlimited, rather than ad hoc for a specific case, which will enable me to appear before the Court on any matter. The AIFC is an increasingly prominent jurisdiction, with Lord Mance as its Chief Justice. I hope that my AIFC admission will enable me to build on my experience of appearing in common law courts within civil law countries.”
