The Disclosure Pilot - hitting the ground running: Manchester

The Disclosure Pilot for the Business and Property Courts commenced on 1 January 2019 for a two-year period across the Business and Property Courts in Manchester, the other regions and London.  The Pilot applies to existing and new proceedings.  Most of CPR 31 will no longer apply; and parties will instead be under a range of ‘Disclosure Duties’ (including a duty to disclose ‘known adverse documents’).

Lesley Anderson QC is a member of the Working Group established in 2016 to identify problems with the disclosure regime and propose a practical solution.  She and Ben Harding are both members of the Business and Property Team at Kings Chambers.  In this seminar they will explain the reforms, the key concepts in the Pilot and the practical implications for litigators.
