We are delighted to announce that Satinder Hunjan KC has been appointed as a Patron of Arts for Dementia.
The charity undertakes absolutely fantastic work combining the arts and the understanding of dementia – both of which will have touched many of us in some way.
Arts for Dementia uses the power of the arts to inspire people living with dementia to get creative, connect, learn new skills and most importantly, have fun. Their workshops (which are provided free) aim to challenge, boost confidence and wellbeing through a variety of art forms from visual arts, drama, sculpture, dance and more. They want everyone affected by dementia to have access to high quality creative activities, so they advocate for the benefits of creativity for dementia and also train others to understand dementia and deliver inspiring, engaging sessions.
If you would like to support the work of Arts for Dementia and become involved or simply want to know more, please do not hesitate to contact directly, either Satinder Hunjan [email protected] or Penny Fosten, CEO [email protected].
