Sam Karim QC is to speak at the 6th annual Global Arbitration Review (GAR) Live event in Paris on 28th November.
A member of Chambers whose practice includes a specialism in arbitration, Sam will be one of the witnesses at the GAR Live Inquisition session, which asks the question “How can IA remain at the forefront of international advocacy?” The session will take the format of a US senate committee hearing where “inquisitors” will grill Sam and two other witnesses on whether IA represents the best vehicle for international disputes. He will be joined by Marie Danis, August Debouzy and Kathryn Khamsi, Three Crowns. All three will be inquisited by John Fellas, Hughes Hubbard & Reed and Gaelle Filhol, Betto Seraglini. The event will be moderated by Elie Kleiman, Jones Day.
This follows on from Sam’s appearance at GAR Live in Dubai on 15 November where Sam formed part of the panel on AI for IA — the intersection of technology and due process paranoia.
