CIL and Land Value Capture - Birmingham

Significant changes are on the horizon as the government looks to implement amendments to the Community Infrastructure Levy; approaches to viability assessments; and, their response to the MHCLG Select Committee Inquiry into Land Value Capture.

Changes in these important areas of planning have the potential to impact upon the bottom line of developers.  How to respond to these changes is essential to all involved in the development industry.  Local authorities will need to review their existing practices to ensure that they are doing all they can to strike the balance between funding supporting infrastructure and the effect on viability of development.

This seminar, hosted by Kings Chambers Planning Team, will examine the legal and practical implications of these significant changes for developer clients and local authorities.
