His Majesty The King has approved the appointment of Rachel Galloway, a former member of Kings Chambers, as a Circuit Judge. This decision follows the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Shabana Mahmood MP, and the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable the Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
Her Honour Judge Galloway has been assigned to the Northern Circuit by the Lady Chief Justice and will be based at Bolton Crown Court. Her new role will commence on 24 February 2025.

Judge Galloway was a member of Kings Chambers until 2018, when she was appointed as a Deputy District Judge.
