Paul Chaisty QC appears in the Privy Council
Paul represented the Respondent in the case of Ming v Ming and JF Ming Inc, instructed by the BVI and Hong Kong offices of Conyers. The appeal was from the BVI Court of Appeal, at which Paul successfully appealed the first instance decision, following a two-week trial and relates to issues as to the appropriate remedies in shareholder claims for alleged unfair prejudice and the nature and extent of the discretion afforded to a trial judge. Judgment has been reserved.
