Michael Stephens
 is to speak at a fringe meeting during the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham as part of a panel discussing “Alternative Dispute Resolution, Innovation and the Future of the Courts”. Other members of the panel include the Minister of State for Justice, Sir Oliver Heald QC MP and the Chairman of the Bar, Chantal-Aimee Doerries QC. The meeting, sponsored by the New Statesman, is to be held at Jurys Inn, Broad Street at 3.00 pm on Tuesday 4 October.
