On 21st June 2017 The East Riding Local Plan won two of the Planning Awards run by Planning Magazine at a ceremony at Savoy Place in London. The Plan won the Award for Plan Making and also the prestigious Editor’s Award.
Paul Tucker QC and Martin Carter were involved in steering the Plan through the preparation for its successful examination process. Paul assisted with the Examination process for the Allocations Document part of the Plan and appeared at the Examination for that part of the Plan. Martin performed the same role as regards the strategic elements of the Plan. Both also advised on the appropriate evidence base to support the plan.
