The seventh edition of Insolvency Legislation: Annotations and Commentary was published on 30 October 2018 by LexisNexis. Written since its first edition in 2005 by Kings insolvency experts, Louis Doyle and Professor Andrew Keay, the book continues to go from strength to strength and is a common feature on the desks of many of the insolvency judges in the District Registries. The foreword to the new edition is written by the Chief Insolvency & Companies Court Judge, Nick Briggs following the foreword written for the six edition by the Chancellor, Sir Geoffrey Vos. The text of the book has undergone an overhaul in the production of the new edition which also includes all of the present Statements of Insolvency Practice (SIPs) and (fully annotated) the Insolvency Rules 2016; the reviews of the new edition which feature on LexisNexis’ website from practitioners speak for themselves.

The eighth edition is already in planning and is expected to appear in Autumn 2019.
