Court of Protection

The Kings Chambers Court of Protection department is nationally recognised and led by Sam Karim KC. The department has been at the forefront of developing case law in the Court of Protection since 2005 and specalises in health & welfare, property & affairs and medical treatment. The team readily accepts instructions from the Official Solicitor, ICB’s, NHS Trusts, local authority and those representing family members.

Former members include The Hon Mrs Frances Patterson, The Hon Mr Justice Poole and HHJ Burrows.
