Mini-Pupillage Event & Open Day – 24th and 25th June 2021

Mini-Pupillage Event & Open Day – 24th and 25th June 2021

If you want to find out more about what it takes to become a barrister, apply now to attend Kings Chambers’ virtual Open Day and Mini Pupillage Event.

Our events take place on June 24th and 25th 2021.

As a leading Chambers, based across three cities, with a national reach and reputation, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from some of the country’s most respected barristers. They will tell you all about their day-to-day role, how they got into the profession and what it’s really like to stand up in court.  After hearing them speak, you might just find that life at the Bar surprises you.

Our Open Day and Mini Pupillage take place over two days:

  • Day One: A virtual open day for anyone considering a career at the Bar and keen to understand more about life with a civil practice. The day will include talks from barristers, judges and clerks and you’ll have the chance to ask questions.
  • Day Two – An interactive mini-pupillage programme for 20 successful mini pupils. The day will include an advocacy exercise to really get you thinking. Applicants for this day should be students in the second year of their law degree, or third year of a non-law degree or above. We encourage applications from graduates who have already pursued another career path.

Each day will give aspiring barristers an understanding of what a career at the Bar entails. As a multidisciplinary practice, you’ll hear from Members of each of the specialist teams at Kings Chambers and there will be plenty of opportunities for discussion.

What are you waiting for?

Our open day and mini-pupillage are always extremely popular so don’t hesitate in getting your application in.  Applications close on March 12th.
