Kings Chambers team up with Irwin Mitchell to support Leeds NHS major trauma center charity “Day One”

Kings Personal Injury Barrister Toby Coupe and Director of Clerking Stephen Loxton have joined forces with a team of eight from Irwin Mitchell to raise funds for the Leeds NHS major trauma centre charity “Day One”.

The team is tasked with the challenge of completing 7 marathons in 7 weeks by either running, walking, or cross-fitting their way through the 26.2 miles each week. Steve Loxton has even got his whole family involved, with 3-year-old Oscar (pictured above) doing the first and last marathon, and the rest of the Loxton family (Fiona, Oscar, and Poppy) completing the other 5 marathon distances between them.

Day One is a fantastic organisation which provides a holistic support service patients and families affected by major trauma; delivered by Leeds Cares in partnership with patients, families, trauma clinicians, NHS Trusts and other organisations.
