Kings Chambers would like to take this opportunity to warmly congratulate Bill Brown on his retirement after 32 years of service to chambers.

Bill has been an integral part of Kings and has played an important role in our impressive growth during his time as Chief Clerk and latterly as Director of Clerking.

When Bill joined Kings in 1988 we were a small common law set based in upper rooms in Royal Exchange.  Since then he has helped to oversee our transition to an exclusively civil set with multiple specialisations which are recognised nationally.  He is recognised throughout the industry for his work and was referred to in a recent edition of Chambers and Partners as “out there on his own in the way he runs things and his client service.  He is in a different league.”

Chambers wishes Bill and his wife Carol a long and happy retirement together and wish to convey our deepest thanks for devoting his extraordinary talents to our success.
