Lesley Anderson QC spoke recently at the Chancery Bar Association’s conference in Hong Kong. The event, which ran over two days, attracted over 100 Hong Kong lawyers. Lesley’s paper was on a comparison between Derivative Actions in Hong Kong and the UK and included consideration of the recent decision of the Court of Appeal in Harris v Microfusion in which she appeared for the successful party, instructed by Andrew Smith of DLA Piper, and Mark Harper QC appeared for Mr Harris, instructed by Gateley Plc.
On 5th and 6th May 2017 The Chancery Bar Association held a conference in Hong Kong, which was organised with the support of the Hon. Chief Justice Geoffrey Ma, the Hong Kong Bar Association and the Hong Kong Law Society.
Additionally, on Thursday the 11th May 2017 Lesley Anderson QC delivered a legal update to the Yorkshire R3 Association, a mixed audience of IPs and others practising in restructuring and insolvency, in which she considered the recent decisions in Davis v Jackson, Armstrong v Onyearu, Green v Wright and Harris v Microfusion”.
