King Chambers’ Charity Easter Egg Campaign for Candlelighters and Wood Street Mission

Kings Chambers are delighted to support two charities this Easter; ‘Candlelighters’ and ‘Wood Street Mission’. Members, clerks and staff donated over 350 Easter eggs to the two worthy charities.

Candlelighters is a children’s cancer charity based in Yorkshire, they fund research, family holidays, grants, essential additional services within the hospital and vital support for families battling children's cancer. The Easter eggs donated by Kings Chambers will be handed out on the children’s wards this week.

The Wood Street Mission helps children and families affected by poverty, living in Manchester and Salford with everyday items most of us take for granted. Their Easter project aims to provide each child up to the age of 16 with chocolate eggs. Donations from Kings Chambers will contribute to the thousands of eggs they receive, any surplus eggs they have had leftover will be shared with other local voluntary groups.
