Kings Chambers is proud to announce our support for the 10,000 Black Interns Programme.

The 10,000 Black Interns Programme aims to transform the horizons and prospects of young Black people in the UK by offering paid work experience across a wide range of industries, as well as world-class training and development.

Francesca Gardner, Race Equality and Social Mobility Champion at Kings Chambers commented:

“We are delighted to be participating in this scheme in both our Leeds and Manchester chambers.  We are looking forward to giving our interns an insight into how we work, from the clerks room to the courtroom.”

On the 7th September, the 10,000 Black Interns team will be hosting an interactive launch webinar covering:

  • The #10000BlackInterns journey, programme and partners
  • An overview of the application process and timelines
  • Detail on how to leverage the programme resources available to eligible candidates
