Kings Chambers’ Richard Borrett acted for the family in an inquest into the death of a Light Dragoons Sergeant whilst on exercise in Cumbria.

The coroner heard evidence that rules relating to the wearing of seat belts in RWMIK vehicles on exercise were not enforced and issued a Rule 43 letter requiring the Army to take steps to prevent similar deaths in future.

Richard was instructed by Laura Gabbey-Cristofini, military claims specialist of Irwin Mitchell Solicitors.
