In accordance with our continual Risk Management Planning, we have over a number of weeks now, devised and implemented a number of measures to address the situation presented by COVID-19 including complying with the advice of HM Government. All of these measures enable us to protect/minimise the risk to employees, barristers, solicitors and clients whilst at the same time enabling us to continue to deliver our work and to comply with our professional obligations. Please be assured that we have the resource, systems and infrastructure to continue to assist you.

We are ready to use video conferencing to conduct conferences, settlement meetings and other work that would usually be face to face.

We are working with the courts and tribunals to facilitate video or telephone hearings.

Barristers and many staff at Kings Chambers are now working remotely. To assist us to do so we ask all clients where possible to:

• Communicate with barristers by email
• Communicate with clerks and staff by email or direct dial numbers which are available on our website.
• Send all new instructions and documents electronically. Where hard copies have to be sent to Chambers, please liaise in advance with the relevant clerk and barrister to arrange delivery directly to the barrister concerned.
