Kings Chambers has been ranked as a leading set in 21 practice areas in the Chambers and Partners UK Bar guide, more than any other set nationally and follows on from the success at the Chambers Bar Awards where chambers was awarded Regional Set of the Year 2018.
Chambers and Partners is the authoritative guide to the legal industry, both for the Bar and for law firms alike and cited Kings Chambers in this years rankings as “a standout set on the Northern, North Eastern and Midlands circuits, and is considered the first port of call for leading solicitor firms across these regions thanks to the “technically excellent and commercially aware advice provided by the barristers” and “wide variety of expertise” available within chambers.”
With 78 members ranked individually at both silk and junior levels within the publication, chambers has also achieved notable success in the Midlands for Licensing work, together with a strong reputation for Commercial work and expertise in complex Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence matters in the regions. In addition we have been recognised this year for “expert representation of clients in public law matters and planning and environmental disputes.”
Chambers is also proud that its Business & Property department has, again, been recognised as the leading set in the regions. In particular, we have been ranked as Band 1 in Banking & Finance, Chancery, Commercial Dispute Resolution, Company, Partnership, Real Estate Litigation, Restructuring & Insolvency and Sport.
Nigel Poole QC, Head of Chambers, commented: “For Kings Chambers to be the top of the table for chambers across the country is a testament to the talent and hard work of all our members, clerks and staff. Regional chambers do not always get the credit we deserve for the breadth and depth of the services we offer. This is clear evidence that there is excellence at the Bar all around the country.”
