Kings Chambers is delighted to announce that pupils Amy Rees and Hannah Saad represented Chambers at the Worshipful Company of Arbitrators Tenth UK Mediation Skills Competition for UK Law Students 2026, held on 23–25 January 2026, and won the overall competition trophy.
In an outstanding individual achievement, Amy Rees was also awarded Best Advocate.
The competition, held by special invitation, brought together law students, trainees, and pupils from UK universities, law colleges, law schools, law firms, Inns of Court, and barristers’ chambers from across the UK to test their advocacy and negotiation skills in a realistic mediation setting. Teams adopted the roles of counsel and client to resolve a commercial dispute, working with their counterparty and an experienced mediator. Performances were assessed by leading dispute resolution specialists acting as judges.
Kings Chambers congratulates pupils Amy Rees and Hannah Saad on their excellent achievement.
