Kings Chambers is pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted in an impressive eight categories for the Legal 500 Bar Awards 2023. The nominations include four chambers/team awards, three individual member awards, and one clerk award, showcasing our chambers’ talent and dedication across Chambers. We are particularly pleased to have been shortlisted for the new Diversity & Inclusion Set of the Year award, which further solidifies our reputation as a leading barristers’ chambers and our continuing commitment to promoting equality and inclusivity at the Bar.
In the individual member awards category, Nicholas Truelove has been shortlisted for Clinical Negligence Junior of the Year, Sam Karim KC has been shortlisted for the Court of Protection & Community Care Silk of the Year award, and Laura Gould has been nominated for Employment Junior of the Year. These nominations recognise the outstanding expertise and contributions of our members in their respective areas of expertise.
In addition to being included on the Diversity & Inclusion shortlist, Kings Chambers has also been shortlisted as a set for the Court of Protection & Community Care Set of the Year, Planning & Land Use Set of the Year and for the Set outside London of the Year award, recognising our expertise in these areas and as a leading chambers beyond the capital.
In the clerking awards category, Stephen Loxton, the Director of Clerking at Kings Chambers, has been nominated for the prestigious Senior Clerk of the Year award. This nomination reflects Stephen’s exceptional leadership and the high standard of clerking services provided by our chambers.
The Legal 500 Bar Awards celebrate excellence in the legal profession and honour exceptional individuals and organisations across various practice areas. Our presence in the shortlist is a testament to the expertise, dedication, and contributions of our members, clerks, and staff to the legal field.
