Kings Chambers is proud to announce that five of our members have been included in the inaugural Pro Bono Recognition List of England and Wales.
Congratulations to Andrew Singer KC, Eleanor Temple KC, Douglas Cochran, Killian Garvey, and Shemuel Sheikh, who have each met the requirement of providing at least 25 hours of pro bono legal assistance over the past calendar year.
This first edition of the Recognition List is noteworthy for acknowledging an impressive total of 3,760 barristers and solicitors, including 476 barristers.
Endorsed by its patron, The Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill, the Recognition List was established under the sponsorship of the Attorney General’s Pro Bono Committee, with the support of the Law Society, Bar Council, and all major pro bono legal organizations.
