Judgment has been handed down in a claim in which Helen Trotter acted for one of the successful Defendants. The trial was heard before Mr Recorder Laprell, in November 2017. Helen was successful in reducing her client’s breach period from the pleaded 14 years to 18 months, with the Judge then finding that the Claimant had further failed to make out medical causation.
The Claimant then applied for an issue based costs order which, after skeleton arguments and oral submissions, was rejected by the Judge, in favour of a order directing that the Claimant pay the Defendant’s costs.
