Kings Chambers proudly announces its highly anticipated Mini-Pupillage Programme scheduled for the 19th and 20th June 2024. As a leading Chambers spanning three cities with a national reputation, this event promises a unique opportunity for aspiring barristers to engage with some of the country’s most respected legal professionals.
Each day of the programme is designed to offer a comprehensive understanding of what a career at the Bar truly entails. Kings Chambers, known for its specialist expertise, will showcase members, judges, and clerks from various civil areas of law, providing participants with diverse perspectives and ample opportunities for discussion.
Who can apply?
Applications are invited from students currently in the second year of their law degree, or the third year of a non-law degree or above. Kings Chambers also extends a warm welcome to graduates and individuals who have pursued alternative career paths.
Please note that the Mini-Pupillage Programme is distinct from the Chambers’ Pupillage selection process. Kings Chambers is dedicated to promoting equality and diversity within the legal profession, asserting that there is no prescribed “Kings Chambers type” apart from a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.
Accessible for all
To ensure accessibility, Chambers encourages applications from students of all backgrounds, aiming to remove any personal cost barriers. As part of our commitment, Kings Chambers offers a ‘mini-pupillage award’ of £200 to all successful applicants. Breakfast and lunch will also be provided. For those traveling from further afield, Chambers may also arrange accommodation, with exceptional travel costs reimbursed.

We are limited to 24 places. Successful applicants will receive detailed information upon acceptance into the programme. Given the popularity of the event, prospective candidates are urged not to delay their applications. The deadline for submissions is the 4th of April 2024.
