Following a public inquiry in August the case for confirmation of compulsory purchase and demolition of the Longscar Building by Hartlepool BC using planning powers was rejected by an Inspector and the Secretary of State. Gary Grant of Kings Chambers instructed by Ward Hadaway represented the successful objectors to the Order.
