Kings Chambers barrister, Simon Burrows, and Joseph O’Brien from St John Building’s will look at the overlap between the Court of Protection and Child Care proceedings with particular reference to the transition period from children’s services to adult social care. They will also address when to involve the Court of Protection and how it can assist and support older children being looked after by the Local Authority move into adult life.
