Leading barristers set Kings Chambers and financial advisors Chase de Vere have raised £5000 for the Child Brain Injury Trust during their annual quiz fundraiser.

Annual Quiz Fundraiser

The event, which returned after a two-year break on 6th October, brings together more than 120 legal professionals who battle it out in an 8-round quiz. This year, Kain Knight were crowned champions, with Leigh Day a close second.

The Child Brain Injury Trust was established by a group of health professionals in 1991 to research and provide information regarding the effects of ‘traumatic’ injury on a child’s developing brain. The charity works to support families across the country who have children suffering from brain injuries resulting from accident or illness.

Chase de Vere is one of the country’s leading independent financial advisers on personal injury and clinical negligence cases.

Stephen Loxton, Director of Clerking at Kings Chambers, said:

“We’re proud to have supported the Child Brain Injury Trust for many years and recognise the vital support they provide for families and professionals across the country. The quiz was a great opportunity to come together for an enjoyable evening – thank you to everyone who took part and congratulations to Kain Knight who were worthy winners.”

Danielle Gibson, Head of Fundraising and Marketing at Child Brain Injury Trust said:

“A big thank you to everyone who attended the quiz and raised much needed funds for CBIT. The last few years have been challenging for the charity sector and events like this are truly appreciated.”

Ryan Lewis, Business Development at Chase de Vere, said:

“It was great to get together with so many people to test our general knowledge and raise £5000 for a very worthy cause.  The money raised will be used to help CBIT provide support for those affected by childhood acquired brain injury.”
