Out of the 25,000 genes each of us has, just one of these can cause a genetic disorder. The money raised on ‘Jeans for Genes Day’ funds a range of initiatives that improve the quality of life of the 500,000 children affected by one of these genetic disorders. Members, clerks and staff swapped their suits for denim to support this worthwhile charity. In addition they kindly made cakes for a bake sale, raising over £200 in total.
