Business & Property Clerk Harry Young raises a staggering £4,671 for Mind Mental Health Charity

Business and Property Senior Clerk Harry (Gary) Young has raised a fantastic £4,671 for mental health charity Mind by completing a marathon on Sunday 11th April.

Harry and two friends set themselves the challenge of running the 26.2 miles from Altrincham to Ramsbottom after successfully achieving his previous challenge of 100x 5 kilometre runs since the new year. Harry completed the marathon in a fantastic time of 3 hours 34 minutes, even surprising himself.

Thanks to the generosity of members of Chambers and others, Harry raised over £4500, beating his target fundraising figure of £3000.

Mind is a fantastic charity that provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
