Ben Harding has obtained judgment for £280k in a misfeasance claim against two directors of a liquidated recruitment company, who a matter of months before HMRC wound the company up in January 2014 purported to write off their director’s loan accounts and transfer the company’s assets to another company of theirs.

The judgment was obtained following a 4-day High Court trial in Birmingham before HHJ McCahill QC.

Ben was instructed by Neil Davies and Gulshan Kumar of Neil Davies & Partners Solicitors.

Ben is recognised as a leading insolvency junior on the Northern Circuit.
