Simon Plaut is a very experienced junior barrister, specialising in all aspects of claims involving serious and catastrophic personal injury and all forms of occupational disease. He is instructed by claimants and defendants solicitors nationally.

  • RSI and upper limb disorders
  • Occupational stress related illness
  • Noise induced hearing loss.

Simon deals with road traffic, employers liability and public liability claims which have resulted in:-

  • Serious bodily and psychological harm
  • Traumatic brain injuries
  • Limb amputations
  • Pain and other neurological disorders
  • Fatal accident claims

Simon is instructed in inquests, usually, but not exclusively when the death is associated with a personal injury claim. His practice includes acting for bereaved families and also for private prisons, relating to deaths in custody, particularly when allegations of neglect have been made.
