Hannah commenced a specialist Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence pupillage under the supervision of Victoria Heyworth and Toby Coupe in September 2025.

In these fields, she has gained experience with conferencing, advocacy, and drafting particulars of claim, defences, advice, applications and schedules / counter schedules.
Hannah has observed a range of hearings including case management hearings, application hearings, multi track and fast track trials, disposals (both MoJ Stage 3s and OIC hearings), small claims hearings, regulatory proceedings, clinical negligence trials involving complex causation issues and cross examination of experts, and joint settlement meetings / mediations, infant and patient approval hearings.
Prior to commencing pupillage, Hannah worked as a paralegal at the UK Covid-19 Inquiry. Within the Module 3 ‘Impact on Healthcare’ team Hannah liaised with counsel, solicitors, and Material Providers, leading disclosure and document review for a wide range of MPs including NHS England and UK Covid Bereaved Families for Justice.
Hannah also spent a period of time working as a Legal Assistant in Lesvos, Greece with European Lawyers for Lesvos. In this role she facilitated the registration of, and information provision to, refugees and produced a range of research memos on security and human rights threats. Hannah engaged with a range of vulnerable clients and undertook some Arabic translation work.
Hannah was pleased to win the 2026 Mediation Skills competition hosted by The Worshipful Company of Arbitrators alongside her fellow Kings pupil Amy Rees.
