Annual Kings Chambers Court of Protection Conference 2024

The Kings Chambers CoP team returns for its annual national conference where members will explore topical issues in this jurisdiction. We are delighted to confirm that the key note speaker will be Mr Justice Poole (the Family Presiding Judge for the Northern Eastern Circuit).

The full day event will include interactive sessions discussing:

• COP applications for under 18s
• Capacity: silos and illicit substances 
• Forced Marriage Protection applications and the interactions with the CoP
• When to bring a serious medical treatment application
• An update on LPA validity

Ticket price includes

• Light breakfast refreshments available on arrival from 9:00 – 9:30 am. First speaker will take to the stage promptly at 9.30am.
