On Thursday 8 June 2017, Andrew Grantham addressed the NCCBA Breakfast Seminar on the construction of written contracts following the Supreme Court decision in Wood v Capita Insurance Services [2017] UKSC 24. In the talk Andrew addressed the principles developed since the seminal decision in ICS v West Bromwich, the manner in which the Supreme Court has attempted to reconcile textualism and contextualism and the principles likely to be adopted in the future by the Courts.
