Helen is an accomplished and highly regarded practitioner, who undertakes complex and high value work.
Helen practises predominantly in clinical negligence, with a particular interest in issues of mental capacity and mental health. She prosecutes and defends clinical negligence claims, and represents interested parties at the coroner’s court. She is adept at handling the coronial process and is happy to be instructed to undertake Article 2 inquests.
Helen is particularly interested in the interface between issues of mental health and mental capacity, and clinical negligence together with cases involving treatment decisions.
In her personal injury practice, she has particular expertise in matters of brain injury, with a particular interest in brain injury in children. She is interested and engaged in rehabilitation and case management.

Helen frequently represents at inquests and is familiar with, and adept at handling, the coronial process. She is proficient in dealing with cases involving children and protected parties and accepts instructions in Article 2 compliant inquests.
As a personal injury practitioner, Helen specialises in cases involving brain injury, chronic pain and cases of multiple serious injury. She has extensive experience of motorcycle accidents and their resultant injuries, and has particular expertise in cases involving brain injury.
