Arya joins the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team having successfully completed pupillage under Richard Livingston and Claire Steward.
During his pupillage, Arya gained considerable exposure to high value and complicated serious injury work, including: a variety of clinical negligence work, industrial disease work, claims under the Fatal Accidents and Law Reform Acts, Occupiers’ and Employers’ Liability claims, as well as cases with a human rights element.
During his practising six, Arya has successfully represented both Claimants and Defendants in a variety of hearings, including: fast track trials, application hearings, costs hearings, small claims and disposals (including, OIC cases).
Arya has developed his paperwork practice during pupillage, which includes drafting pleadings, opinions and a successful application for permission to appeal.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Arya worked at a national Personal Injury law firm alongside his studies.
