Alan Evans successfully represented Gladman Developments Ltd in their appeal against the refusal by Wrexham County Borough Council of proposals to redevelop land at the former Hafod Tileries, Johnstown with up to 300 houses, 465 sqm of business, industrial, storage & distribution units and 235 sqm of retail floorspace. The appeal decision rejected the Council’s various contentions that the development represented an illogical extension to the settlement in an unsustainable location with a harmful effect on the character of area.
