Aidan Reay, acting as sole counsel, has just concluded an 8-day trial in the London Circuit Commercial Court.
Instructed by Andrew Little and the team at Hill Dickinson LLP, Aidan represented the Defendant against a claim for fees of over 1.7 million EUR brought by a New York investment bank in relation to a 143 million EUR real estate financing deal in Poland.
The trial, heard over 8 days in the Rolls Building, involved questions of Polish law with both parties having expert evidence from specialists in Polish commercial and corporate law and evidence being heard remotely from New York.
Judgment was reserved following the trial.
