Michael Rawlinson QC has been retained by the Westgate family in the forthcoming inquest regarding the death of the pilot Richard Westgate allegedly from inhaling toxic fumes whilst acting as an airline pilot (‘aero toxicity’)  This case has become nationally prominent following the issuing of a report by the Senior Coroner for Dorset inviting British Airways and the Civil Aviation Authority to set out how they propose to prevent further deaths should the link be proven.
