Below is only a snapshot of the charitable work we do both as a chambers collectively and members & staff do individually raising thousands of pounds for various charities. The Sports Team and the Clinical Negligence team at Kings have now formally associated themselves to The Diane Mohdal foundation and the Child Brain Injury Trust respectively. This is in addition to other charitable works / fundraising done by chambers collectively. Recent charities we have supported are the Wood Street Mission who's aim is to help alleviate the effects of poverty on local children and their families through practical help. Our recent charity golf day raised funds for Francis House Children's Hospice who provide care for children and young people with life threatening conditions and the necessary support and short-term rest for their families. Previous golf events have raised much needed funds for the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. We have also recently helped the Bolton Metro Swim Squad towards the cost of their first pre-season swim camp to Calella. Each year our clerks participate in Movember raising funds for Macmillan. Members & staff have for the past few years taken part in the Great North Swim raising funds for the North West Legal Support Trust and also the Trailtrekker for Oxfam.
