Sarah practices in all areas of Town and Country Planning. She regularly appears for developer, local authority and private clients in Planning Inquiries and Hearings, Enforcement Inquiries, Compulsory Purchase Inquiries, Planning Prosecutions and Development Plan Examination Hearings.

Sarah has extensive experience across the full range of planning matters including housing applications, employment land applications, renewable energy applications, applications concerning heritage assets, advertising and enforcement matters and compulsory purchase.

Sarah regularly advises and appears in statutory challenges and Judicial Review proceedings, and has appeared in both the High Court and Court of Appeal.

Sarah practices in the field of Highways Law, including advisory work and appearances at Public Path and Definitive Map Modification Order Inquiries. She is a Contributor to the Encyclopedia of Highway Law and Practice.

Sarah is instructed by the Treasury Solicitor as Junior Counsel to the Crown (Provincial Panel).

Sarah also appears in licensing appeals, with particular experience in appeals relating to premises licenses.
