Stephen joined Chambers in September 2009 upon successful completion of his pupillage.
Stephen enjoys a very busy junior practice in the field of personal injury. He acts for both Claimants and Defendants in equal measure and is happy to accept instructions on a CFA basis. The majority of his work involves fast track and multi-track work. He has a fast growing reputation for the work he undertakes and the exceptional levels of service he delivers to those instructing him.
His personal injury practice encompasses such areas as road traffic litigation (including associated criminal matters) and occupiers' and employers' liability claims.
Stephen has a particular interest, and growing practice, in clinical negligence work, acting predominantly on behalf of claimants. Recent cases have included several Fatal Accident Act claims, matters involving psychiatric injury arising from witnessing the death of a child, hospital acquired infection and claims arising from pregnancy, childbirth and gynaecology treatments.
