Charlotte practise encompasses both personal injury and Clinical Negligence work. She undertakes personal injury work for Claimant and Defendant in all areas, including Occupier's and Public Liability, Employer's Liability and Road Traffic.
Charlotte has a particular interest in Clinical Negligence, undertaking work on behalf of Claimants arising from cases of surgical and pharmaceutical negligence, misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis, inappropriate treatment and lack of consent.
Charlotte has a special interest in and undertakes work on behalf of Claimants who have sustained injuries in the course of employment in the Armed Forces.
Charlotte has considerable experience in Coronial Law, including its interaction with the Human Rights Act 1998. She regularly attends Inquests on behalf of families of the deceased and Defendants and acts for Claimants in pursuance of Fatal Accidents Act claims.
Significant Cases:
Charlotte was recently led by Mike Rawlinson QC in the inquest arising from the deaths of four service personnel in a Snatch Land Rover in Afghanistan in June 2008, and continues to be instructed with a view to bringing civil proceedings against the MoD.
