Daniel Simons
On Saturday 27th March 2010 Daniel Simons finally lost his long and very brave fight against cancer.
Having practised as a trial lawyer in Florida, Dan worked in a number of firms of solicitors in the UK before deciding to join a set of barristers chambers where he could undertake personal injury and clinical negligence work and continue teaching advocacy skills to lawyers in England and elsewhere.
He chose Kings. We were very fortunate to have Dan with us for several years before he became ill. He was a man of enormous charm and charisma with real learning and culture.
He was at home with classical literature as he was with modern art. He had a profound understanding of medical law and trial practice and procedure. He made many friends in chambers and will be greatly missed. We extend our deepest condolences to Kay, Zak and Asher.
