Kings Chambers is delighted to announce the arrival of new members David Casement QC and James Boyd who today moved to Kings from Exchange Chambers.
Their appointment enhances Kings’ already strong reputation in commercial and employment law, adding several new and complementary areas of expertise to our offering.
Dr Nicholas Braslavsky QC, head of chambers at Kings, said:
“We are delighted that David and James have opted to join us here. David’s reputation as a commercial practitioner is well known both regionally and nationally and his addition to the team reaffirms our position as the leading commercial set outside London. James’ experience and reputation in employment law makes him an excellent addition to the set, showing our commitment to growing our practice group in this area.”
David is a specialist chancery and commercial practitioner and has been consistently recommended over many years in the professional directories Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500 as a leader in commercial and chancery litigation.
“Kings Chambers has a long-established and highly-regarded commercial and chancery department, and a great team of leading and junior counsel supported by first-class management. I am delighted to have become a part of that team,” said David.
Described as “a terrific advocate” by Chambers and Partners, James advises and represents clients throughout the country in all types of employment disputes, appearing on behalf of employers, unions and employees at the Employment Tribunal and the Employment Appeals Tribunal.
“To work with an ambitious, dedicated employment team like the one at Kings is a great opportunity and one I am very pleased to accept,” said James. “The set is committed to independence and excellence and these are qualities that clients respect.”
