Court of Appeal clarifies the law on parking offences

The Court of Appeal has dismissed the appeal brought by Neil Herron and Parking Appeals Ltd against the dismissal of their application for judicial review of a decision of a parking adjudicator relating to 34 parking contraventions committed within a Controlled Parking Zone in Sunderland. This is the first time the Court of Appeal has considered the law in relation to signage of parking restrictions and the judgment provides important clarification.
